Kendrick Lamar has won Video of the Year at the 2017 VMA Awards.
The rapper’s “HUMBLE.” triumphed in a stacked category that included Alessia Cara’s “Scars to Your Beautiful,” Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic,” DJ Khaled’s “Wild Thoughts” (feat. Rihanna, Bryson Tiller), and the Weeknd’s “Reminder.”
“Man, I want to thank God for giving us these amazing talents,” said Lamar, accepting his second-ever moon person.
The musician went on to thank his manager Dave Free and video director Dave Meyers, both of whom Lamar brought to the stage and let take the mic.
